Section 3 - Installation Process & Service Delivery

We guarantee that any price quote agreed upon will remain valid for 30 days from the date of acceptance, provided the Client has a date of installation in mind, even if it falls beyond the 30-day period.

 

Scheduling Appointments:

We schedule appointments at the earliest available time, prioritizing the convenience of our Clients. The timeframe for installation will depend on the size and scope of the service required. Clients will be informed of the installation timeframe in advance or during the process if unforeseen circumstances arise.

 

Client Delays and Cancellations:

If a Client cancels without giving at least 24 hours’ notice, a £19.99 additional fee will apply. We encourage Clients to notify us as soon as possible if rescheduling is necessary.

 

Weather & Climate Conditions:

If weather or climate conditions affect the installation, we offer free rebooking to ensure the highest quality service. Clients are encouraged to contact us at [email] or via our contact details to reschedule in the event of potential delays.

Terms & Conditions

Introduction:

• London Window Tints is a Residential and Commercial Window Tinting Service. The following terms and conditions govern the use of our services, outlining the legal rights and responsibilities of both the company (“We”) and our customers (“Clients”).

 

Definitions:

• “We” refers to London Window Tints.

• “Clients” refers to individuals or businesses utilizing our window tinting services.

• “Service” refers to the residential and commercial window tinting services provided by London Window Tints.

Section 1 - Pricing & Payment Terms

We offer a variety of payment options, including cash and card payments. Payment can be made upon completion, before the service begins, or upon agreement.

 

Deposits for Services:

• For services valued between £499.99 and £999.99, we require a 30% deposit before visitation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service.

• For services exceeding £1000.00, we request a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

 

Cash Payments:

• If paying by cash, Clients must inform us beforehand if change is required. For safety reasons, our team does not carry cash.

• Price Quotes:

• Price quotes are generated based on either the measurements provided by the Client or those taken by our team during a site visit.

• It is the Client’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of the provided measurements before accepting a quote. If the Client agrees to proceed without confirming the measurements and they are found to be incorrect, we are not liable for any discrepancies in cost or service as a result.

 

Refunds and Cancellations:

• We adhere to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 when addressing refund or cancellation requests.

• In the circumstance where appointments are requested to be moved, we require 24 hour prior to do so, to ensure you do not incur any additional fees. 

• For Cancellations on all orders, we require 72 hours prior notice to avoid any incurring fees. 

Section 2 - Client Obligations

We kindly ask that Clients ensure the following to facilitate a smooth and efficient installation process:

 

Work Area Preparation:

Clients must clear the areas where the service will be performed, providing safe and adequate access for our team. This includes moving any furniture or obstructions away from windows.

 

Safety During Installation:

We use water-based solutions for the preparation and installation process. While we uphold due diligence to prevent any issues, we are not responsible for damages caused by unprepared areas or obstructions.

 

Film Choice Confirmation:

Clients must be fully informed and content with their choice of window film before agreeing to the price quote. Failure to verify and confirm the correct film selection may hinder any prospects of a refund. We strongly encourage Clients to ask questions or raise any concerns with our team prior to installation.

 

By preparing the workspace and confirming the film choice, Clients help ensure a safe environment and contribute to the successful completion of the service.

Section 4 - Warranties & Guarantees

We provide manufacturer warranties on all products, with terms that vary depending on the specific product chosen and installed.

 

Warranty Duration:

Warranties begin on the date of application and end in accordance with the terms set by the manufacturer. We will replace any film that is damaged due to our installation process or product defects.

 

Client Responsibility:

If the damage is caused by the Client after installation, it is their responsibility to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

Section 5 - Limitation of Liability

Damages:

London Window Tints will take all reasonable precautions to prevent damage during installation. However, we are not liable for damages caused by pre-existing conditions such as weak window frames, compromised glass integrity, or other structural issues unrelated to our work. Clients are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is in suitable condition.

 

Delays:

While we strive to meet agreed-upon deadlines, unforeseen circumstances (such as weather conditions, supply chain issues, or client delays) may affect our ability to complete services on time. London Window Tints is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses caused by such delays.

Service Disruptions:

In the rare event of an interruption or disruption to our services due to factors outside of our control (such as power outages or third-party failures), we will work to reschedule or rectify the situation as soon as possible. We are not responsible for any losses or inconveniences caused by these disruptions.

Maximum Liability:

In any case, the maximum liability of London Window Tints for any claim, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, will be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the service in question.

Section 6 - Termination of Agreement

Termination by Client:

Clients may terminate the agreement at any time before the scheduled service, subject to our cancellation policy. If a deposit has been paid, the cancellation policy will determine the applicable fees. For cancellations over £499.99, a £24.99 fee applies. For cancellations without a deposit, no extra charges are incurred.

Termination by London Window Tints:

We reserve the right to terminate the agreement if clients fail to comply with the agreed terms, fail to make payments, or if health and safety standards cannot be maintained at the job site. In such cases, deposits may not be refunded.

 

Penalties for Early Termination:

If the agreement is terminated by the client after the service has begun but before completion, the client may be liable for the cost of materials, time, and labor provided up to the point of termination. Additionally, the client will forfeit any deposit paid.

Section 7 - Privacy & Data Protection

Client Information Protection:

London Window Tints is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. Any personal data collected (such as names, addresses, contact information, or payment details) is used strictly for the purposes of service delivery, communication, and business administration.

Privacy Policy Reference:

We adhere to all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For detailed information on how we collect, store, and use client data, please refer to our full Privacy Policy, which is available on our website or upon request.

Section 8 - Dispute Resolution

Negotiation & Mediation:

In the event of a dispute, London Window Tints encourages clients to contact us directly to seek resolution through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, mediation by an independent third party may be pursued before taking further legal action.

 

Jurisdiction & Governing Law:

All agreements and disputes arising from the services provided by London Window Tints are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of this jurisdiction.

Section 9 - Changes to Terms

Notice of Changes:

London Window Tints reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email or posted on our website. Clients will be informed at least 30 days in advance of significant changes that may affect ongoing or upcoming services.

 

Frequency of Changes:

Changes to the Terms & Conditions can be made as necessary but are generally reviewed and updated annually to reflect changes in business practices, legal requirements, or service offerings.
